The 2h Project doesn't have the budget to employ health professionals. So we work with existing health systems in developing contexts - and the goodwill and generosity of Australian professionals who volunteer their time and meet their own expenses.

Have a specialty & want to help?
The 2h Project is run almost entirely by volunteers. It means we rely on generous people who are committed to making things better. Maybe you have a few spare hours each month to offer or you might be a university student looking to get some ‘hands-on’ experience.
And don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert to be involved. Whatever you’re good at, there’s every chance we need your particular skill, you’ll be surprised at how things can fit together!
Join a team
Teams are regularly in the field delivering our life-saving programs. You might have been thinking about joining one but have been unsure where to start.
Its important that our programs are implemented by registered and qualified professionals, so we see that as a minimum requirement. Ideally we expect that you have a number of year’s experience working in your particular field - midwifery, obstetrics, gynaecology, anaesthetics, sonography etc.
